Celebrate the spirit of traditional African Dance with Janet Peck, a professional coreographer, dance instructor and performer who studies dance in Guinea on a regular basis. Janet is dedicated to her mission which is to help students and audiences understand Africa's cultural heritage and truly appreciate the enthusiasm, spirit and our essential humanity that African dance embodies and celebrates! Her joy, passion and her positive energy will infect you....WOW does she have energy!
Janet will be leading you through Traditional African dances while you are surrounded by the sounds and vibrations of LIVE drumming! That's right! The Drumzzone Drummmers will be playing the traditional rhythms that accompany the dances. The sounds of Djuns, Djembes and laughter will fill the air! All levels welcome!
