Drumzzone Djembe Drums -light weight at NOTBONGOS

Ivory Coast djembes are world-renowned for their very full tonal range and professional quality. We have improved on the standard Ivory Coast drums in a few key ways to create high quality drums. Thicker, sturdier rings for more durability and better fit. The bearing edge on every drum is re-worked to make sure it is level, round, and perfectly smooth. We hand select every skin using the larger, thicker goatskins from the Northern part of the country. The use European 2-part polyester rope and take extra care to create uniform, well-spaced cradles. We apply an extra coat of liquid shea butter on all the drums to help preserve the wood.

We are happy to be one of the few to offer these Ivory Coast drums with the new carving designs. These are definately not the Ivory Coast drums you are used to seeing.
