Olaibo is a group of professional women from New Hampshire who love to drum,dance and sing.Through the years we have had the privilege of learning from many African drum masters.In this recording, we honor the bridging of cultures as we look to the past where much of the music we enjoy today originated.In celebrating the songs and rhythms of Africa we hope to awaken the primal pulse that exists in all of us. We hope to inspire all who hear our music to dance, sing and drum...to heal ourselves and our planet.We dedicate this recording to our most inspired and beloved teacher,the late Babatunde Olatunji.
